Engineering Lead

I'm currently working with the leading provider of automated, Cloud-based solutions for video analysis and streaming of sports. With customers globally, their product is used by some of the world's biggest sports teams, leagues and broadcasting companies, across a range of sports from football (soccer if you're from the US 😉), Basketball, Rugby, Fustal and beyond, in both professional and amateur settings.

Their products combine innovative web and mobile applications, AI, Machine learning and computer vision, to optimize the way in which we can consume sports, as-well as revolutionizing the analytical capabilities for broadcasting companies, medical and coaching staff.

Based in Malmö, they are looking for a Senior software engineer to join their talented and close-knit tech team, taking on a Lead Engineer role! This is a unique opportunity to have a huge impact on the customer journey, overseeing the whole process from Cloud integrations & backend development, on their mission to automate the entire customer experience!

This would be a permanent role based out of the Malmö HQ (hybrid)


Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the integration and automation of our different systems in the cloud , to create a seamless customer journey and enhance commercial opportunities
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of our customer journey and drive technical solutions that meet our customers' needs
• Develop and maintain integrations between different systems using APIs and other integration tools
• Work with our engineering teams to ensure that data is flowing seamlessly between different systems and that customers have access to accurate information
• Ensure that integrations and automation align with our overall technical strategy and architecture
• Mentor and coach other engineers to promote best practices and ensure high-quality code and systems

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience within software engineering, with a focus or strong proficiency within system integrations and automation
• Strong experience within AWS Cloud; Including (but not limited to) serverless architecture, message brokers, and REST APIs.
• Strong experience within backend Java development using Spring framework
