As a Test Architect, you will support the definition of the roadmap for test tools, conducting POCs to determine the target test tools in order to provide a modernised technology ecosystem for test management and test automation in BI.
Together with other team members, you will engage with teams and vendors to define, implement and maintain test project architecture in alignment with the test strategy.
You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and scalability of test solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
Understand the client's testing needs and provide reliable solutions for testing projects accordingly. As a hands-on member of the team, lead by example and maintain a culture of simplicity and technical excellence.
Participate with the team in consulting and coordination activities with other BI teams and vendors to support them in defining and building testing solutions, ensuring service delivery for testing projects.
Drive the execution of POCs and support the integration of new testing tools, empowering BI product teams in test automation for a diversity of use cases with the Business Development Platform.
Proactively gather feedback to influence the test tool roadmap and support the creation of decision trees to determine when to use each test tool.
Contribute to the creation of content and presentation activities to support customer awareness and decision making process regarding test tools in alignment with the first platform strategy.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in software architecture and 3 years of hands-on experience working in an agile environment practicing continuous delivery.
Experience in defining test strategies and implementing test automation frameworks for applications and data.
Experience with Tosca as a test automation tool, Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS/Azure.
Experience working in an international and intercultural environment.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Willingness and ability to travel.
