Data Engineer (Contract)

This is a freelance opportunity for a Finnish-speaking Data Engineer. The company is one of Finland's largest Data and AI partners who's end client is within the Financial Sector.

- Contract until the end of the year
- Hybrid model from Helsinki, Finland

Requirements:
- Python and pySpark
- SQL (postgres, MS SQL, DB2, Teradata and sparksql dialects)
- AWS and in the future Azure cloud environment and the tools they offer
- Databricks
- In addition, it would be good to have knowledge of how to build financial data processing processes.
- Experience with data storage and data lake architectures
- Knowledge of information modeling, especially dimensional modeling
- Experience with integration architectures & methods, ETL
- Knowledge and/or experience with data streaming & event-based architectures, especially Kafka
- Knowledge of DevOps principles
- Experience in banking a plus
