Project Manager (Telecom Company)

My client is currently looking for Project Manager to join their expand team in Telecom Industry. You will be the leader to lead the project team and be the successor. Candidate from telecom background is preferred.



The Role:

• Lead a team for design and planning, implementation and maintenance of outdoor fibre cable network:
• Design and manage the outdoor fibre network system for network stability and development
• Design and manage planned and unplanned works for plant protection, diversion of utilities, customers' orders and network fault and to provide technical and operational support including Emergency Call-Out when required
• Design and prepare budget and project proposal for sales support and network maintenance
• Manage the implementing of the project proposal and meet client's and company's requirements under tight project schedule
• Manage the team for workflow, cost and inventory control, contractor's support, for new sales orders and network maintenance and development.
• Undertake and prepare budget, purchase requisition, tender documents for work orders, network inventory records update and management reports.
• Liaise with internal and external parities, such as sales, customers, contractors, builders, BMO, government authorities etc. for the customer projects and network maintenance

The Person:

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years' experiences in Telecommunications industry
• With solid working experiences in design, project management, coordination, statutory submissions of outdoor fibre projects are preferred
• Knowledge in MicroStation and G/Comm system for geographic record & fibre record
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Self-motivated, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
