Location: Poland (remote)

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Azure SQL Administrator, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure SQL Database solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Monitoring database health and performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for backup, recovery, and high availability.
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimize SQL queries and ensure best practices.
  • Performing database tuning, index management, and query optimization.
  • Ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to continually enhance the database infrastructure.




Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven experience as an Azure SQL Administrator or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL Database services and related Azure technologies (Synapse Link, Managed Instance, Elastic Pool, etc)
  • Proficiency in SQL query writing and performance tuning.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Familiarity with data security practices and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
