We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Manager / Manager - System Design with expertise in Java to join our client (Well-known In house company in Hong Kong). Responsibilities



  • Lead the design and development of software systems using Java technologies



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and specifications



  • Architect scalable and robust systems that align with industry best practices



  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team



  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline development processes



  • Resolve technical issues and bugs, ensuring systems are functional and optimized



  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Java development



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field



  • Proven experience in system design and development using Java technologies



  • Strong knowledge of Java, including Spring Framework and Hibernate



  • Experience in Microservice architecture design, Agile software development methodologies, DevOps and continuous testing is an advantage



  • System development, with HR related system experience is a plus



  • Proficient in web application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript



  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, NoSQL DB



  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies



  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills



  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
