Multiple Software Development positions - Tampere (Helsinki also an option.)

3x Senior Backend Developer: NodeJS, TypeScript, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB & AWS (CDK, Cloud Formation, Lambdas, API Gateway.)

This role is a hands-on senior level developer role that includes especially helping/coaching/mentoring other developers in development matters. Also can take part in architecture design.

• Capable of mentoring and coaching developers.
• Experience working as a backend developer with NodeJS and Typescript
• Experience of developing with Rest APIs
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and No-SQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS Serverless development (CDK/Cloud Formation, Lambdas, API Gateway)
• Experience in automated testing (unit and integration tests). Familiar with automated API blackbox testing.
• Familiar with designing micro-services and Rest APIs with OpenAPI specification (or Swagger)
• Familiar with Scrum

1x Senior Full stack Developer: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, REST APIs & AWS (Lambda functions and Cloud native development.)

• Experience in web development with React and JavaScript/TypeScript and implementing microservices using REST APIs
• Senior: Familiar with React, NodeJS and TypeScript, at least 4 years of working experience with these technologies
• Experience with design systems, Storybook are considered as plus
• Experience in designing microservices and REST APIs with OpenAPI specification is considered a plus
• Experience in working and designing with databases such as Postgres and DynamoDB is considered a plus
• Experience of developing in AWS environment, preferable cloud native development. Understanding of Lambda-functions

My team are working with one of Finland's largest eCommmerce companies who are scaling 2 of their Engineering units after a very strong H1 performance which due to demand, requires additional expertise. Their HQ is located in Tampere with additional offices in Helsinki and Jyvaskyla but they can also accommodate remote/hybrid work options within Finland if Engineers are willing to occasionally travel on-site.
