Cloud Architect - Tampere (AWS)

My clients based in Tampere is looking for a Cloud Architect to come and join their team. This In-house Product Start-up in the Telecommunications industry, they are providing next-generation digital solutions that transform the way telco operators do business

This is a very hands-on Cloud Architect role, candidates must be willing to 'get dirty' with the work. Heavily focused on AWS Serverless and IaaC background (CloudFormation/Terraform).





Requirements:

- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB (core requirement)

- Solid skills on AWS CloudFormation and Terraform (core requirement)

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries

- Scripting in Python

- Basic Git usage, including pull request-based workflow





Responsibilities:

- Managing their AWS environments (API GW, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, RDS, SES, Cognito, S3)

- Setting up Virtual Private Networks and other needed infrastructure so that they have secure connections towards their operator customers - Proactive monitoring of their application and production environments

- Supporting their AWS related partner initiatives such as completing AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR)

- Assisting in upgrading of our 3rd party SW components to achieve the latest features and security patches

- Managing backup and restore procedures



Due to customer demand this position is Finnish Speaking
