Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth development, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Optimize and automate processes to improve development efficiency and reduce time to market.
• Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure the highest level of system reliability and performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or containerization.
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of log aggregation and monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA.
