Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using Java, JavaScript, and AWS technologies.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex software features and modules, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve development practices and processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of at least 5 years in software development, with a focus on Java and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
