Java Developer

Job Description

As a Java developer, you will be working alongside a team of fellow Java developers and DevOps engineers to create new features on an exciting new project. You will be working during night time hours and be responsible for the collaboration with APAC and USA regions.


Role & Responsibilities

• Create innovative new features in accordance to needs defined by the product owner using Java
• Work in an agile team to define and execute test cases
• Create application prototypes in accordance to client needs
• Maintain constant contact with the client to refine needs and specifications
• Be a mentor to more junior members of the team

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with development in Java
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for containerisation
• Knowledge of AWS cloud is a bonus
• Knowledge of CI/CD and tools such as terraform and ansible
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
