Program Manager- Banking

This is for a global transformation (North America, EMEA, and APAC) to enhance their offerings of Client onboarding and servicing.

  • End-to-end program ownership across 3 regions (AMS, EMEA, APAC) and composed of multiple workstream, in co-ordination with the Global Program Director (client)
  • From design of the program - including governance, timeframe, workstreams definition, dependencies, RACI, project staffing, budget, metrics
  • To its delivery in each region, each workstreams, and including crossover initiatives
  • Articulates the program status, outcomes, risk & mitigation appropriately to all stakeholders, including making presentations to MD level client stakeholders
  • Build a strong relationship with clients, partners, internal stakeholders, and project managers to ensure all program workstreams are defined, tracked and executed according to plan
  • Develops and implements effective communication plans, designed to drive strategic discussions with stakeholders
  • Identify and help remove program roadblocks; handle escalations or further escalate so that issues do not impact scope, schedule or budget
  • Ensures that all required program artifacts (governance, RACI, RAID log, timeframe, workstreams scope etc) are executed and stored correctly; ensures that all program teams and project managers comply with methodologies established
  • Support and drive the growth of the program and the client account from a consultancy firm perspective

Required Skills:
  • Proven track record in implementing complex programs at large financial institutions
  • Sound understanding of the Operations remit in a Bank - from CRM, onboarding, Middle Office and Back Office, payment, transaction monitoring activities
  • Significant experience in leading global teams to deliver client objectives within agreed budget, time and resource constraints
  • Experience of leading operational and organizational change within financial services
  • Experience in managing both internal and client dynamics to achieve consensus and make progress
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to deal with senior and demanding client stakeholders
  • Significant business experience using various project and program management methodologies in a variety of environments

Nice to have
  • Nice to have formal program management certification - PgMP or MSP
  • Nice to have - Experience of leading and delivering transformation in Client Lifecycle Management, Wealth Management Operations
