As a Product Owner you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing features and functionality for our software products. You will act as a bridge between our development team and the customer, ensuring that the product aligns with customer needs and business goals.Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision: Develop a clear and compelling product vision, aligned with the company's strategic objectives, and communicate this vision to the development team.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, to understand their needs and gather requirements.
Prioritization: Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends.
Backlog Management: Create and maintain a well-organized product backlog in Jira, ensuring that it is groomed and ready for development sprints.
Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning sessions with the development team, providing a clear understanding of user stories and requirements.
User Story Definition: Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring that they are ready for development.
Iteration Review: Participate in sprint reviews, inspecting the product increment and making decisions on further iterations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and QA teams, providing clear guidance and feedback on product development.
Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and prioritize product improvements.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to make informed product decisions.
Design Collaboration: Work with designers using Figma to create and refine product design and UI/UX elements.Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS or software development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency in using project management and issue tracking tools, particularly Jira.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with Figma or other design collaboration tools is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
