My client is a Manufacturing company, currently looking for a VLAN Specialist.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform network port VLAN mapping in line with solution architecture and network design specifications.
• Install and configure equipment and devices according to application architecture, executing local technical setups as required.
• Collaborate on technical tasks with global application deployment project teams.
• Gather and consolidate requirements for digital devices, providing support with device preparation and setup.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between local devices and digital applications, enhancing accessibility for end-users.

What are we looking for:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of pertinent work experience.
• Essential: Proficiency in network management, specifically Cisco network systems and VLAN management.
• Essential: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows platform-related technologies.
• Essential: Fundamental understanding of firewall rules setup and management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Role: Senior Network Engineer (Implementation)

Location: Singapore East



Job Responsibilities:

• Configuration of physical network devices during capacity expansion projects
• Establishment of automated monitoring systems for physical network devices
• Implementation of automated alerting systems based on monitoring data for physical network devices
• Development of automation scripts for safely updating configuration settings of physical network devices
• Management of tickets to Data Centre operations for various tasks including cable checks, device replacements, and decommissioning
• Updating firmware (operating system) of network devices
• Maintenance of logical access security for network devices
• Immediate response to live site incidents involving network devices
• Provision of evidence to auditors regarding the logical security of network devices

Required Skills:

• 3 or more years of Networking Engineering experience, encompassing Layer 2 protocols, Layer 3 networking with IP, and routing protocols such as OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS
• Proficiency in troubleshooting across a range of networking platforms including Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Arista
• Strong scripting abilities for automating routine tasks is highly advantageous(preferred, though not strictly required)
• Ability to collaborate effectively, listen attentively, maintain composure under pressure, gain confidence from peers, and adaptability, as the role may encompass diverse responsibilities such as design engineering, deployment engineering, operations, and project management

You will be responsible for the implementation, user support, and training of Dynamics 365 F&O projects in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

• Project implementation in Dynamics 365 F&O
• Develop concepts and propose solutions
• Designing, structuring and describing processing procedures for operational systems
• Leading workshops
• Supporting developers and creating change requests
• Working closely with other project managers and application consultants
• Lead project team when required

Manage Level 2 support escalation and upgrade IT infrastructure.



Major Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain documentation for vessel IT.
• Develop system configurations, lead migrations/upgrades, and ensure technical consistency.
• Troubleshoot and implement solutions for multi-tiered application architectures.
• Provide maintenance, incident response, and patching support.
• Ensure cybersecurity, backup solutions, and hardware purchase control.
• Meet monthly KPIs for vessel ticketing and ongoing projects.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of IT system deployment experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft OS and applications, network infrastructure, and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and communication technology.
• Proactive, customer-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse environments.
