    We are currently looking for a System engineer Unix for one of our clients. the client is a swiss web-hosting provider based in Zürich.

    Engineering tasks:

    • Maintenance, renewal and further development of our infrastructure such as the web, DB or mail clusters, our distributed storage systems, the network and the many other components
    • Planning, development and integration of new services and technologies from conception to launch and operation
    • Continuous security assurance including assessment and response to threats, vulnerabilities or incidents
    • Software and system maintenance from configuration management, rollout to bug response, debugging and customization of (mostly) deployed open source software
    • Maintenance and further development of our comprehensive monitoring and documentation


    What you bring with you:


    Completed studies in computer science FH or dedicated and experienced self-made Unix techie
    • Sound know how in the area of Unix and Internet
    • Great curiosity, joy in technology and a passion to understand things
    • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP network protocols and common application protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, HTTP, TLS, etc.
    • Experience working with shells and scripting languages
    • Good abstraction skills as well as analytical, independent and critical thinking with a flair for clean concepts
    • Great sense of responsibility and independent, proactive way of working
    • Everyday written and verbal communication in German as well as good English skills

    Job Description

    You independently drive the business specification and implementation of complex business and technical topics for certain international locations, in particular Singapore and Hong Kong. You will thereby closely work together with both the international locations and the central functions in Switzerland. Topics typically focus on regulatory, efficiency and/or growth initiatives in Private Banking, Asset Management and Treasury & Trading. In this role, you will be able to gain deep insights and experience in different areas of our bank and in several international locations.


    Role & Responsibilities
    • Conduct requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the Bank with particular focus on the Bank's entities in Singapore and Hong Kong
    • Create business requirement documents (BRD), i.e. translate conceptual business requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to IT developers and stakeholders
    • Write test cases, organize and perform UAT
    • Define and communicate verbally and through written documentation conceptual approaches, prepare solution options as well as required decisions and document the outcome
    • Align regularly with primary stakeholders and coordinate the needed analysis activities
    • Collaborate closely with key functions across the bank, in particular, IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Products and Front units


    Skills & Qualifications
    • Master degree or education in business/finance. Higher financial education (CFA/MBA) would be an advantage
    • At least 5 years of working experience as business analyst in Consulting and/or Banking in Switzerland. Experience in Singapore and/or Hong Kong would be advantageous. A deepened understanding and interest in asset management, treasury & trading and/or private banking is required
    • Experience with regulatory implementation projects
    • Full proficiency in English required, other languages would be an asset
    • Ability to work independently, pragmatic & outcome oriented. Distinct process-oriented and analytical thinking
    • Team player, ability to collaborate with various (including very high level) stakeholders

    Your tasks

    - Design, develop and deploy customer engagement business processes for the implementation of the CRM system, CTI, and communications platform

    - Work closely with business and digital teams for infrastructure deployment

    - Develop the Customer Engagement Center throughout the project life cycle - Keep track of the KPIs, in order to measure success and goals

    - Ensure all relevant data is tracked and recorded to enable prospect and customer segmentation to understand value and target messaging accordingly

    - Collaborate together with the Senior Manager Customer Engagement and the team

    - Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers



    Your profile

    - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an IT-related field

    - Deep work experience in a global consumer care environment

    - Ideally worked in different international locations

    - Proven track record of successfully implementing tools to digitize and automate customer service operations

    - Customer focused - Skilled with strategic decisions that prioritize the needs of the customer

    - Outstanding customer/client focus

    - Comfortable with project-based work and able to build professional network

    - Good problem-solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, ability to take initiative and work with remote teams - Fluent English speaker
