    Data Architect- Fully Remote- Up to 110k

    I am currently working with one of the most exciting Data, ML and AI specialised businesses in Europe who are also a well established AWS Partner. They are on the look out for a talented Architect with solid experience within end-to end as well as solution architecture and strong AWS cloud knowledge. This is an opportunity for any passionate architects to really get stuck in and progress within a business across a variety of projects and day to day tasks.

    You will be required to use and recommended the latest and greatest tech with high profile, enterprise clients. Providing clients with their first experience of our client's delivery capability and approach.

    Responsibilities:
    • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their motivations behind projects. Acting as the technical authority and escalation point for AWS technical issues and decisions.
    • Take advantage of Serverless technologies in designing AWS solutions; such as Lambda, S3, Dynamo DB, and API Gateway.
    • Assist in all aspect of the engagement life cycle, supporting the Pre-Sales, Sales, and Delivery functions of the business. This includes strong communications skills.
    • Working closely with Data Scientists at understanding the needs and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep learning applications.
    • Provide governance and oversight over the low-level implementation of projects


    Requirements:
    • Proven AWS design, implementation and support experience.
    • Background in application development and experience in at least one high level programming language (ideally Java, Python or Node JS).
    • AWS Solution Architect, Associate Certification or at least 3 years' experience of AWS.
    • Understanding or some exposure to Data Lakes and Data Engineering with knowledge of AWS data lake services (Glue, Glue Catelog, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis).
    • Ability to create high quality Cloud Formation or Teraform scripts.

    Data Engineer - Up to £60,000 - Flexible Working

They reach every corner of the world giving their teams the wealth of opportunity to be challenged working in a fast-paced environment, constantly learning and developing new skills.

    They are currently on the lookout for an experienced data engineer to join one of their ever growing and progressing teams across the business. The ideal candidate would be a data professional who is extremely keen on progressing quickly and taking on responsibilities as well as someone who enjoys a fast paced environment.

    You will be working on a variety of greenfield projects working in a multi-cloud environment with the opportunity to become certified in GCP Cloud technologies. You will be working in a medium sized team where you can not only work alongside skilled professionals and grow but also have the space to progress and take on lots of responsibilities.

    Skills

    - Python and SQL knowledge.

    - ETL data pipeline expertise.

    - Basic front-end knowledge.

    - GCP /AWS experience.

    Responsibilities

    - Work closely with the data engineers and data scientists in our team to ensure the solution is fit for purpose, and that they can develop relevant components accordingly.

    - Lead on the delivery, drawing from your own programming expertise or from more senior members of the team where relevant.

    - For solutions that are deemed to have significant client potential, the post holder will also have to opportunity to productionise the solution, with the support of more senior members of the team.

    - Assure the quality of implemented data science and data engineering solutions (i.e. "QAing" them as they're rolled out)
