    Role & Responsibilities

    • Interact with internal teams/brief external partners to source technology services (e.g., data, engineering & software)
    • Be an advocate and advise on tools and technology for our team
    • Contribute towards best practices for MarTech and Data that can be leverage by our teams


    Skills & Qualifications
    • 5+ years' experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery or technology consulting
    • Excel in bridging the gaps between business and technology, specifically MarTech, AdTech and consumer data
    • Experience of leading teams of Architects, Data Engineers and Analytics teams
    • Understanding of data (Analytics + CRM Data) integration and API methodologies and tools
    • In-depth understanding of the digital marketing landscape and experience with technologies like web analytics, CRM, marketing automation, campaign management, search, MMP, ad servers, DMPs, DSPs and audience creation/targeting

    We're looking for a talented AWS or GCP DevOps engineer to work with a world and industry leading client within the Financial Services in London.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work within an agile pod of DevOps Engineers on various projects for mixed clients across the Financial Services in London & the Rest of Europe.


    Role & Responsibilities
    • Take up a Senior position within an Agile pod of other DevOps Engineers for mixed clients across the Financial Services in London & ROE
    • Create and manage infrastructure using modular, version-controlled and testable code.
    • Create extensible, automated continuous integration and delivery pipelines to test and release application code and IaC.
    • Build CI/CD Pipelines as Code.




    Skills & Qualifications
    • Cloud certification (AWS or GCP)
    • Pipelines and CI/CD, GitOps concepts
    • UNIX OSs
    • Expertise in using IaC tools (Terraform preferably)
    • Jenkins and a shared library architecture for automation
    • Experience working on Containers
    • Databases (SQL, MongoDB, NoSQL)
    • Open-source technology such as Kubernetes
    • GKE or K8
    • Strong working knowledge using a Scripting language (Python or Bash)

    Must have experience in the following technologies:

    • Data modelling (Data Warehouse, Marts).
    • Programming and scripting languages (PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, Python, Hive, HiveQL, HDFS, Impala, etc).

    • AWS or GCP


    Experience
    You should have:
    • Awareness of devops culture and modern engineering practices
    • Experience of Agile Scrum based delivery
    • Proactive in nature, personal drive, enthusiasm, willingness to learn
    • Excellent communications skills including stakeholder management


    Good to have experience in the following technologies:
    • Data virtualisation tools (Denodo).
    • CI/CD toolsets (Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible).
    • Reporting (Pentaho BA, Power BI, Business Objects)
    • Test Automation (TOSCA)
    • Data Analytics toolset (SAS Viya)
