Data Engineer - Remote - £65,000

My client, a growing, high-impact consultancy is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join its expert team. Working across a mix of exciting, high-profile clients in various different sectors.

You will join their expanding team to build robust platforms and create intelligent solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Python
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
• Great knowledge of Snowflake
• SQL optimization and warehouse design experience
• Strong Python skills for scripting, orchestration, and data manipulation

2X Data Scientist Contract

Core skills: Python ideal, R and SQL

Role 1: Requires: PowerBi, Athena skills
Role 2: Oracle DB, C++, PL/SQL - ideally they need to be able to work their way around Oracle.



Typical outputs that we would expect of these roles are as follows:

• help the project team measure and assess service performance outcomes (for example, what good looks like and how it will be measured)
• applying analysis techniques to relevant contexts
• helping to define and create performance measurements with the wider team, including identifying reporting requirements, advising on tooling, implementation and validation of tools to deliver against these requirements
• present analysis and visualisations in clear ways to both specialist and non-specialist audiences, with support
• give tactical recommendations based on analysis and insight to inform decision making

My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team. They are one of the leaders within their space. For this role, they are looking for a candidate that has experience in…

Extensive experience in implementing solutions around Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and data modelling,
An understanding of SQL, T-SQL, ETL/ELT, and Data Pipelines.
Previous exposure in a Data Engineering capacity is highly sought after.
Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies preferably around Azure.
