What will you be doing?

You will join as a key leader of the Belgian team and the global company. Their strategy for Belgium entails ambitious accelerated growth in 2024. Your focus will be on driving business growth through client intimacy, thought leadership, and hands-on technical delivery alongside the engineering team.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Consult clients on software architecture, enterprise architecture, and engineering leadership.
• Facilitate delivery across multiple multidisciplinary teams working on innovative solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for client business and management, leveraging your knowledge of the national language (NL/FR).
• Utilize your Belgian market experience, preferably in Financial Services, to strengthen the company's position as a premier software consultancy company by cultivating strategic client partnerships.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a group of highly experienced engineers, demonstrating ownership, proactivity, and collaboration.
• Be part of a culture that upholds high engineering and emotional intelligence standards, where development paths are self-determined within a mentor-led environment.

Our client is a rapidly expanding company with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. They are known for their innovative approach and are currently seeking a Lead Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and drive technological advancements within an innovative and growth-oriented company.



Location: Brussels

Language Requirements: Fluent in English, Dutch is a big plus

Experience Level: Minimum 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable .NET applications.
• Work with Azure cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools to manage and provision infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Docker containers for consistent development and deployment environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Technical requirement:

• Strong proficiency in .NET framework and C# programming.
• Experience with Azure services and deployments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
