Role: Senior System Engineer (Citrix | L3)
Employment Type: Perm
Location: Singapore, Central



The Senior System Engineer will support off-site engineers, to implement and maintain VMWare infrastructure and services according to Service Level Agreements.



Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Support and maintain equipment and Network Operating System (NOS) with deep knowledge of VMWare, Citrix administration, MS Windows technologies, AD, clustering, and MS NLB.
• Service Improvement: Develop and implement long-term process/service improvement measures and plans.
• Support Availability: Provide regular support and be available for standby 24x7x365 support, including off-peak hours for system activities.
• Leadership and Communication: Lead integrated process teams, coordinate and communicate customer requirements, and interface with senior and middle management.
• Technical Problem Solving: Identify, research, and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

• IT Certification: VMWare and Citrix certified (Must have)
• Experience: 6-8 years in MS Windows infrastructure management with excellent Windows Server Administration abilities.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, experience in Windows scripting, and the ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency.
• Independence: Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Desired Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, VMware Infrastructure, Azure, VMware, Citrix VDI, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Studio

Sobre el perfil, se requiere:

• Experiencia entre 2-4 años de experiencia en el puesto.
• Amplia experiencia en DevOps: profundo conocimiento de las prácticas y principios de DevOps, incluyendo la integración continua (CI) y la entrega continua (CD), infraestructura como código (IaC), automatización de pruebas, y monitoreo.
• Experiencia multiplataforma: aunque el enfoque es GCP, se debe tener experiencia en múltiples plataformas de nube (como AWS, Azure, etc.) para asegurar un enfoque agnóstico en la arquitectura y las herramientas utilizadas.
• Herramientas de CI/CD: dominio en herramientas de integración y despliegue continuo, como Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, y Cloud Build, con la habilidad de adaptar estos procesos en distintos entornos de nube.
