    Responsibilities
    • Supervise the SOC team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Implement and enforce SOC policies, procedures, and processes.
    • Stay updated on the security landscape to equip the SOC team with the latest tools and intelligence.
    • Manage and coordinate responses to security incidents, following proper protocols.
    • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests regularly.
    • Work with other departments to enhance the organization's security posture.
    • Develop and maintain metrics and reports to measure SOC operations' effectiveness.
    • Advise clients on compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Stay informed on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to improve SOC capabilities.


    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of information security experience, with recent 5 years in a SOC or incident response role.
    • Has 5 years of experience in managing and leading a team of security professionals.
    • Strong understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
    • In-depth knowledge of security technologies and tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
    • Experience with incident response methodologies and best practices.
    • Strong understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and cybersecurity threats.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools is a plus.
    • Thorough understanding of the ITIL framework.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST).
    • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent are preferred.

    Lead Application Governance and Architecture Specialist

    Location: North-East



    My client is seeking for Application Governance and Architecture personnel.



    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement strategies, guidelines, and protocols for architectural frameworks
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to IT policies in application development and upkeep
    • Conduct IT audits and ensure compliance
    • Coordinate with the IT Governance team to integrate ISO27001 standards into application practices
    • Conduct annual reviews of ISO27001 sections within scope
    • Enforce adherence to IT Policy and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) among application team members
    • Coordinate with other Applications teams' leaders for annual and mid-year planning and budgeting.




    What are we looking for:
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, completion of at least 3 full Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC).
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, ASP .NET MVC, C#.
    • Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure. Understanding of system architecture, including scalability and security principles.
    • Experience in establishing coding standards and enhancing team processes.
    • Familiar with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies, and ISO27001 standards
    • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a knack for identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

    Your new role

    In this fully remote position, you will manage projects across APAC by leading, planning, organizing and controlling resources, in order to deliver the project scope, in accordance with the specifications, on time and within budget.

    * Report into Regional Project Lead
    * Defining and controlling the Project Scope in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    * Ensuring that all project documentation and deliverables are produced timeously, approved and maintained throughout the course of the project.
    * Identifying and managing project risks and scope changes in collaboration with the team lead Project Manager.
    * Delivery planning and monitoring.
    * Co-ordinating project stakeholder attendance and deadlines.

    What you'll need to succeed

    * Ideally 2-5 years' experience in an agile project management environment. Depending on years of experience and track record, you may come in as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator title.
    * Good understanding of the IT industry, software lifecycle, and SaaS.
    * Proven experience in timeline management and scrum management.
    * Self-discipline and work ethic is key as remote working is required.
    * Proactive approach. The ability to foresee potential problems and rapidly react to mitigate them.
    * Assertiveness - having the confidence to speak up where and when appropriate and seek clarification where required.
