The Role
You'll be embedded in a high-performing data team focused on delivering predictive models, NLP solutions, and data products that drive business value in the insurance domain. Working end-to-end, you'll lead modelling efforts from data wrangling to deployment, all while interfacing with clients and stakeholders in a technically rich environment.
What You'll Do
Develop and deploy machine learning models including classification, regression, and clustering
Work across the full model lifecycle: data prep, EDA, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and scaling
Build predictive and propensity models for underwriting and claims
Apply NLP and OCR for document classification and summarisation
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate data into action
What You'll Bring
Strong hands-on data science and ML experience
Expert in Python and modern data science libraries
Experience with AWS SageMaker, Databricks, or similar cloud tools
Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, statistical modelling, and model deployment
Solid understanding of NLP techniques for document processing
Domain experience in insurance (e.g., underwriting, claims)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
