Job Overview:

We are seeking a System Engineer to oversee the management of Microsoft systems and cloud infrastructure. You will be expecting to lead cloud migration projects, maintaining system performance, and ensuring secure, efficient IT operations across hybrid environments.



Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage, maintain and support Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Microsoft and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Drive and deliver IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture, policies, and procedures.




Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft and cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, VMware) are a plus

About the Role



We are working with a leading financial services organization undergoing a major transformation, leveraging AI to enhance client-facing products and internal workflows. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on AI Product Engineer to join a small, agile engineering group within a larger, stable enterprise.

Key Responsibilities



  • Design and prototype AI-powered features using tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Vertex AI.


  • Develop full-stack solutions using Python and TypeScript in a Next.js / AWS Amplify stack.


  • Implement scalable, event-driven workflows with AWS Step Functions and Lambda.


  • Integrate and normalize financial data across formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.


  • Work cross-functionally with product, compliance, and operations teams to deliver production-ready solutions.


  • Troubleshoot and optimize LLM pipelines; prior experience with LangChain or similar frameworks is highly valuable.

I'm working with a multinational, award winning organisation that are looking to scale out their entire IT team. Over the last decade or so, my client have been recognised as the leaders within their relative. As a result of their successes, they've grown exponentially and ventured into new countries where they've followed their blue print of success.
This has meant that the business has looked to modernise their Systems to allow for such growth and one of the key modernisation's comes within their Data Platform.

The vacancy is for a experienced Data Engineer who will be setting foot into a greenfield site where they will be using the latest and greatest technologies. This involves the use of the Azure Data stack as well as also, a data platform build which includes Snowflake.
You will be migrating old data processes into the cloud and helping to build the new platform from scratch which means that you'll be working very closely with an expert team of Data professionals, ultimately developing a first in class data platform.

This is a salaried position which ranges from between £60k-£80k. You can expect a great benefits package but also, an environment that boasts collaborative working as well as the opportunity to develop yourself. You will be given the opportunity to attend industry events, Training programmes but also, paid for, relevant certifications.

Requirements
  • Strong background in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing

  • Willingness to be in the office, ideally 4-5 days a week.
