    What's the gig?:
    We're looking for a Freelance Senior DevOps Engineer who's ready to hit the ground running and bring deep Docker expertise and technical leadership to the table. If you thrive on high-impact, fast-paced environments where your skills make a difference from day one, this is the role for you!

    During this contract, you'll take the lead in shaping and executing a containerisation strategy using Docker. You'll be hands-on with building, troubleshooting, and deploying containers, while also acting as a Tech Lead - helping drive decisions, guiding implementation, and ensuring the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
    You'll work closely with the internal teams to take Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives from idea to deployment, offering both strategic direction and technical firepower!



    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Build, optimise, and deploy Docker containers across dev, staging, and production environments
    • Diagnose and resolve issues in containerised applications and services
    • Take ownership of PoC deployments and mature them into stable, production-ready systems
    • Lead technical strategy for containerisation and DevOps best practices
    • Mentor in-house engineers, guiding architecture, performance, and process decisions
    • Deliver results fast, with clear communication and expert-level execution



    Skills/ Tech Stack:
    • Proven freelance experience in high-impact DevOps roles
    • Expertise in Docker: building, managing, troubleshooting, and deploying containers
    • Demonstrated ability to own PoCs and lead them into production environments
    • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
    • Confident Tech Lead skills-strategic thinking, clear communication, and decisive action
    • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash etc.) and infrastructure automation
    • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)


    Bonus Brownie Points:
    • IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
    • Familiarity with container security and performance tuning
    • A passion for clean, secure, scalable infrastructure

    A professional services firm who are scaling rapidly through acquisition, are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their team in Stoke on Trent as they embark on a major transformation.

    With ambitious growth plans, you'll join during phase 1 of a multi-year strategy to unify and modernise their data, cloud, and tech set-up, including the move from on-prem legacy systems to the cloud (which will most likely be Azure).

    Reporting into their new CIO/CTO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their enterprise-wide data strategy - requiring visionary thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and also brilliant hands-on technical ability.

    Please note this role is fully office-based, 5 days a week in Stoke on Trent, in line with their highly collaborative and close-knit culture.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Assessing the current data estate across on-prem, cloud, and legacy systems
    • Designing and implementing a scalable, future-proof data architecture
    • Leading the migration from legacy tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS) to modern platforms like Azure Data Factory and Power BI
    • Collaborating across cloud, tech, and data teams to align strategies
    • Enabling the business to become AI-ready by optimising data flows and governance
    • Getting hands-on to deliver your strategy - this isn't just a whiteboard role!


    Experience Required:
    • Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect in a complex, multi-system environment
    • Strong technical background with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed
    • Experience with Azure (or cloud-agnostic mindset)
    • Deep understanding of data integration, modernisation, and governance
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills


    This is a permanent role, and offers a salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimised cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.


    • Define target state cloud architecture and migration roadmaps in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.


    • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep and Terraform.


    • Guide DevOps teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.


    • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and lead architecture reviews.


    • Ensure governance, security best practices, and compliance standards are built into solutions.


    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on cloud innovation and transformation strategies.




    Requirements



    • 5+ years in cloud architecture roles, with a strong Azure focus.


    • Deep knowledge of Azure services including Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, Azure AD, API Management, and more.


    • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, and hybrid cloud architecture.


    • Hands-on experience with IaC (Bicep, Terraform), DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and containerisation (AKS, Docker).


    • Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and influence stakeholders across business and IT.


    • Excellent communication in Finnish and English.

    Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with a proven track record in the London Market insurance sector or Lloyd's broking houses? We're working with a leading insurance organisation seeking a contract BA to support a range of strategic and operational initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, operations, and IT to gather and document business requirements.
    • Analyse and map current and future state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support the delivery of change initiatives including system implementations, regulatory compliance, and process optimisation.
    • Facilitate workshops, produce high-quality documentation (BRDs, user stories, process flows), and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

    Essential Experience:

    • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in complex, fast-paced environments.
    • Extensive knowledge of the London Market, including Lloyd's of London, syndicates, MGAs, or broking houses.
    • Familiarity with insurance systems (e.g., PPL, Whitespace, IRIS, Genius, or similar).
