    Java Developer

    Location: Krakow, hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

    Job type: Permanent, UoP

    Our client is looking for experienced, motivated and open-minded Java Developer. The client is e-commerce company, an online retailer of pet food and supplies

    Tech stack: Kotlin & Java - Microservices, SQS, SNS & Rest APIs, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker

    Responsibilities
    • You will be designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting software components anywhere in the software stack.
    • You will be developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
    • You will be determining the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
    • You will be remaining current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluating and make recommendations, as necessary.
    • You will assisting in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.


    Skills and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 4+ years' of experience within similar role
    • Intrinsic passion for learning and self-development
    • Experience in solving problems and tasks of different complexity
    • Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
    • Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.

    I am working with an end user who are looking to hire a Mid Level Java Developer to join the team! This project will involve extensive back-end development on core work streams! You will have the opportunity to work with a range of cutting edge technology and managed services.

    My client offer Hybrid working with 2 days remote per week!


    Experience:

    * Minimum of 3 years Java Development
    * Spring and Hibernate experience
    * AWS experience is advantageous
    * Experience in Relational databases
