About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing data‑driven consultancy helping enterprise‑scale organisations modernise their data estates. With several major new projects kicking off in early 2026, they are expanding their Leeds engineering hub and looking for a Databricks-focused Data Engineer to join their high‑performing team.

You will design, build, and optimise cloud-based data pipelines that feed analytics, AI, and real-time insights. You'll work closely with architects, analysts, and platform teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimise, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines within Databricks
• Build reliable data ingestion frameworks using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Design well-structured data models across medallion/lakehouse architecture
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments using CI/CD
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs
• Ensure compliance with best practices around data governance, security, and quality

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Databricks (jobs, notebooks, workflows, Delta Live Tables)
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud services
• Understanding of Delta Lake, streaming pipelines, and lakehouse architecture
• Solid knowledge of data engineering principles (ETL/ELT, modelling, optimisation)

Implementation Engineer - £60,000 - Remote

Location: Remote (UK-based)

About the Role
My client is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to lead the successful delivery and configuration of a compliance-focused software platform for global clients. This is a hands-on role where you will manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring systems are tailored to meet customer requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute implementation plans and work packages
• Gather and document client requirements, configuring systems accordingly
• Develop User Acceptance Testing scripts and oversee testing phases
• Deliver client training sessions and create supporting documentation
• Provide post-implementation support and drive continuous improvement
• Report and resolve software changes or bugs within project timelines

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical skills in SQL, HTML/CSS, Excel VBA
• Experience with software implementation and support
• Familiarity with supply chain planning/ERP systems
• Knowledge of product compliance regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Conflict Minerals)
• Experience with PLM systems such as PTC Windchill, Teamcenter, Oracle Agile, or SAP PLM
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
• Exposure to ASP.NET/C# development preferred

SQL Server Developer

• Optimising stored procedures, user-defined functions, and ETL processes

• Working with internal stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and deliver clean, efficient solutions
• Supporting continuous improvement through structured reviews, reporting, and proactive remediation

Experience:

• SQL Server development with a strong focus on performance tuning
• Deep understanding of execution plans, indexing, and Query Store
• PowerShell scripting
• Azure SQL / Azure Database technologies
