    You will be reporting to Head of Engineering. Within this role you will be expected to lead 2 junior data professionals and partake in management tasks.

    Responsibilities
    • Deployment of software releases to customer environments.
    • Researching, developing and pushing the adoption of best-practice to ensure data security without
      compromising agility and innovation.
    • Taking part in reviews of colleague's work/code.
    • Responsible for the maintenance and running of a platform.
    • Adhere to all Information Security policies and procedures.


    Skills Needed:
    • Understanding of AWS Cloud Platform.
    • BI and Analytics Tools e.g. PowerBI, Quicksight, Tableau etc.
    • Big Data Storage Platforms (Hadoop, Amazon EMR) and Data Warehousing (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake).
    • ETL technologies like Glue, Spark.
    • Proven record of system automation.
    • Excellent organisation/time management skills.

    Role & Responsibilities

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Working closely with the development teams, architects and other devops engineers to meet the day to day business needs of the company platform.
    • Responsible for creating DevOps tools and capabilities to aid the current build activities and for the long term running of the application. Including: CI/CD pipelines, test automation, operational monitoring and cost control.



    Role & Responsibilities
    • Deployment - build automated deployments. Deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes.

    Data Engineer- Fully Remote- Up to £65,000

    I am currently on the lookout for an experienced Data Engineer to join one of the most exciting data focused IT Service Management organisations in the UK. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation and work with some of the largest financial services in the evolving world of cloud, digital and platforms.     As a Data Engineer in this role you will be part of a growing Data and Analytics team delivering to a wide variety of private sector organisations. You will develop your expertise in a variety of capabilities: Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Strategy and Data Governance. In Data Engineering you also have the opportunity to work in technical delivery, technologies and concepts in areas such as Data Storage, Data Ingestion, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Preparation and Cloud Infrastructure.

    Experience
    You should have:
    • Awareness of devops culture and modern engineering practices
    • Experience of Agile Scrum based delivery
    • Proactive in nature, personal drive, enthusiasm, willingness to learn
    • Excellent communications skills including stakeholder management


    Good to have experience in the following technologies:
    • Data virtualisation tools (Denodo).
