Lead Frontend Developer (React) to help modernise a core product used by global stakeholders in the energy transition space.
Location: Oslo (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

The OpportunityJoin a global data company focused on the energy sector-covering oil, gas, renewables, and carbon capture. You will help lead the transformation of a legacy desktop product into a modern, browser-based data portal. This is a greenfield development project with real technical depth and long-term impact.
You'll be working in a growing product development team, taking on a role that combines hands-on development with technical leadership and team mentoring.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the frontend codebase (React, TypeScript)
Lead and support a small team of frontend developers
Translate product and business requirements into actionable user stories
Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team development
Contribute to architectural and technical direction
Requirements
Proven experience building production-grade applications in React and TypeScript
Experience in a lead or senior role with mentoring responsibilities
Strong focus on maintainability, performance, and clean code
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to thrive in a hybrid, international, and fast-paced environment
Bonus: Experience with data visualisation or dashboard-heavy applications
