Senior Fullstack Developer in EdTech - ASP.NET C# + React

.NET Developer - Build Meaningful Solutions in a Modern Tech Environment



Location: Oslo | Type: Permanent | Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

A respected educational institution in Oslo is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join a cross-functional product team building a new system from scratch. The product is designed to support both students and internal administrative staff, offering flexibility and functionality that no off-the-shelf solution could provide.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful, long-term project with real-world impact, while working in a highly collaborative and modern development environment.

Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and Back-for-Front (BFF) APIs in an Azure-based architecture


  • Develop new features and improve existing .NET-based applications


  • Debug, optimise, and maintain code quality through regular testing and documentation


  • Translate user stories into functional requirements through close collaboration with end users


  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including front-end developers, UX designers, testers, and product managers

Technology Stack



  • .NET (latest versions), ASP.NET Core Web API, C#


  • Azure


  • SQL Server, Cosmos DB


  • React (frontend)


  • Agile methodology, primarily Kanban

Qualifications



  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with modern .NET technologies


  • Proven experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and C#


  • Interest or experience in cloud services (Azure or AWS)


  • Bachelor's degree or higher (required due to the nature of the employer)


  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English


  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to both the professional and social environment
