Head of Data & Analytics (Birmingham)

I'm currently working with a client in the financial sector looking for a Head of Data & Analytics.



You will need to be a problem solver capable to build their entire data function from scratch, setting the strategy, architecture, governance including all reporting foundations needed to enable a fully data‑driven environment.



Required skillset:

Strong experience in data‑focused roles within financial services, investments, or pensions.

Expertise in data governance, quality management, and regulatory requirements.

Hands‑on proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience implementing or managing enterprise data platforms.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leaders.



Location - Birmingham (3 days per week onsite requirement)
