Senior System Administrator (MNC) - Up to HKD50k

Company Overview

Our client is a well-established multinational corporation (MNC) with a strong global presence. As part of their ongoing IT expansion, they are currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to join their growing team in Hong Kong. This is a newly created position reflecting the company's commitment to enhancing its regional IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for OS, virtualization, and cloud environments
• Manage and support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, virtualization, and backup-related issues in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
• Maintain technical documentation and stay updated on relevant technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OCI)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with DevOps and Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with system migrations, backup solutions, and ITIL/change management processes
• Strong communication skills in English, Chinese, and Mandarin, with the ability to manage tasks independently
