Data Centre Operation Engineer

Job Description

Our client is looking for talents who have solid experience from Data Centre environment. You will be expecting to support daily operation for Data Centre and shift work will be required.



Job Responsibilities

• Rack and Stack: Physically install and mount servers, network devices, and related hardware into racks
• System Monitoring: Perform daily systems monitoring, health check and BMS system
• Cabling : Install, terminate and manage data and power cables
• Change Control: Review and assess change requests, develop detailed implementation plans, and identify potential risks to minimize impact on data centre operations
• Incident Management: Rapidly respond to and resolve incidents impacting data centre in and services, aiming to minimize downtime
• Equipment Handle: Equipment installation, cabling, and decommissioning in the Data Center
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirement

• Experience or working experience in Data Center
• Positive working attitude, and detail-oriented
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Comfortable to work under 7x24 shift work environment
