Data Center Engineer

Role Overview:
Join a well-established IBank with 3 operational sites and a strong market reputation. You will be part of an in-house team where training and guidance are provided-ideal for a motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic professional ready to grow. This role involves shift work and offers the chance to work closely with experienced teams



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily systems monitoring, health checks, and incident handling
• Monitor data centre environment (power, humidity, fire protection)
• Manage media (hard drives, SSDs, tapes)
• Install, remove, and maintain equipment and cabling, including racking, stacking, decommissioning, mounting servers & network devices
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Data Centre environment
• Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with 7x24 shift work environment
