Head of Technical (SI Company)

Company Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Technical to lead our technology function. This role is responsible for overseeing all technical operations, ensuring the delivery of robust IT solutions, and driving innovation across infrastructure, cloud, network and security. The Head of Technical will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy, managing technical teams, and aligning solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
· Define and execute the company's technical strategy in alignment with business goals
· Lead and mentor technical teams across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains
· Oversee solution design, architecture, and delivery for enterprise clients
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements
· Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to maintain competitive advantage
· Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagements
· Manage vendor relationships and negotiate technology partnerships
· Establish KPIs and performance metrics for technical teams
· Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with proven success in managing diverse technical teams
· Strong expertise across:
o Infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, virtualization)
o Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid environments)
o Security (cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, IAM, risk management)
· Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical strategies
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
· Track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
Preferred Certifications
· CISSP / CISM (for security leadership)
ITIL or PMP (for process and project management)
