QC Technician

We're partnering with a well-established company in the metal fabrication and manufacturing industry that is seeking a Metal Shop QC Inspector to support first-shift production in a hands-on, shop-floor environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion.

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on QC or inspection experience in a metal shop, fabrication, welding, or machining environment
• Strong ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and basic gauges
• Experience performing in-process and final inspections
• Comfortable identifying common defects (dimensional issues, misalignment, workmanship concerns)
• ISO experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working onsite

Engagement details:

• Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 annually (based on experience) - ***Variability for stronger candidates***
• Type: Contract-to-hire
• Shift: 1st shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Overtime: Available based on production needs
• Location: Onsite (Pottstown, PA area)
• Interview Process: One round
