Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Critical National Infrastructure Project Location: On-site in Wokingham/Hybrid - 3 days on site
Start Date: 4-6 weeks
A contract opportunity is available for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to support a high-profile UK Critical National Infrastructure programme. The role involves providing operational support for a key national platform as part of a long-term transformation initiative.
This is an on-site role based in Wokingham/Reading, working 2-3 days per week on a rotation basis. Remote work is not permitted due to the sensitive nature of the project.
Key Requirements
1-2 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift
Exposure to Azure environments
Familiarity with SRE principles and platform operations
Desirable Experience While not essential, experience with any of the following technologies would be beneficial:
GitOps, Istio, Tekton
Grafana, VMware, ACM
Artifactory, Bitbucket, HashiCorp Vault
YAML and Bash scripting
Security Requirements
BPSS clearance is required to start
Candidates must be UK citizens
SC clearance is preferred, but eligibility to undergo SC vetting is acceptable
