Overview: Our client is looking for an
IT Operations Team Lead to oversee a 24x7 support team. The role involves system monitoring, incident management, security oversight, and ensuring SLA compliance in a Linux-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead 7x24 operations team and manage onsite/offsite support
- Configure, implement, manage, and troubleshoot the internal system
- Monitor system performance and handle incident response
- Handle security incidents and ensure system/network protection
- Ensure SLA compliance and minimize service disruptions
- Coordinate hardware repair and network support
- Liaise with external parties including government stakeholders
- Work with third-party providers on system integration
- Maintain detailed system and operational documentation
Requirements:- Strong Linux/system administration experience
- Good understanding of IT security and incident response
- Familiar with SLA-driven service delivery
- Security certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP) preferred
- Team leadership in 24x7 or shift-based environments
- Experience with government clients is a plus
- Willing to work on a 7x24 shift schedule
