Technical Project Manager- Mobile

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Mobile Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile application projects. You will work closely with developers, designers, QA, and client to ensure our Android and iOS projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
  Own the end-to-end project lifecycle of mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• 
  
  Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• 
  
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, product owners, and marketing.
• 
  
  Break down product requirements into clear, actionable tasks and timelines.
• 
  
  Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• 
  
  Track and report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• 
  
  Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and quality assurance protocols.
• 
  
  Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical team members.
• 
  
  Manage third-party integrations and vendor relationships, if applicable.

Qualifications

• 
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 
  
  4+ years of project management experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on mobile apps.
• 
  
  Strong understanding of iOS and Android development frameworks and constraints.
• 
  
  Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• 
  
  Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• 
  
  Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• 
  
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 
  
  PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

• 
  
  Hands-on technical background in mobile development or software engineering.
• 
  
  Experience with CI/CD, App Store/Play Store deployment, and mobile analytics tools.
