Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related issues within the organization.
- Monitor and analyze security events using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and other security tools to detect and respond to threats.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead remediation efforts to minimize impact.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment.
- Collaborate with IT, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to ensure secure design and configuration of systems and applications.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls, focusing on Microsoft Azure security features and native tools.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies related to cloud security and Microsoft platforms.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Prepare detailed reports on security posture, incident response, and risk assessments for senior management.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably with cloud security focus.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security services and tools, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
- Solid understanding of network security, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience in creating and managing security policies and procedures.
- Proficient in security monitoring, log analysis, and incident handling.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of cybersecurity initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
