Job Title: Senior System and Security Administrator



Location: Boston, MA
Reports To: VP, IT

The Senior System and Security Administrator will lead IT infrastructure strategy, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure systems. This senior-level role involves shaping the architecture across cloud, identity, security, and enterprise applications, ensuring all IT solutions align with organizational growth strategy and cybersecurity priorities. The organization follows a cloud- and SaaS-first model, requiring familiarity with a variety of SaaS products.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions


  • Lead architectural design and integration of enterprise systems, with a focus on identity management (SSO/SCIM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)


  • Ensure integration of DNS, email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and device management tools such as Kandji MDM, Intune MDM, and NinjaOne MD


  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, architects, and engineers


  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines


  • Develop and enforce IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, SOC 2)


  • Oversee and improve deployment of security tools including SentinelOne, Zscaler, Mimecast, and Datadome


  • Act as a key stakeholder in DNS management, brand protection, and email deliverability


  • Lead the change control board for SaaS products and serve as a stakeholder for approvals

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience


  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT systems and security administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity


  • Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)


  • Strong experience with enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zendesk


  • Hands-on experience with identity management, including SSO and SCIM


  • Expertise in DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email security best practices


  • Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Kandji, Intune, and NinjaOne


  • Experience managing Zscaler, Cisco Meraki, and Zero Trust principles


  • Solid understanding of IT security standards (NIST CSF, SOC 2)


  • Comfortable supporting Kubernetes clusters and Microsoft 365 tenant administration


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience mentoring cross-functional teams

La solución se ha desplegado con éxito en varios clientes y debe enfocarse en la consolidación de los procesos y herramientas con el objetivo de perseguir un escalado en el número de clientes y consecuente aumento de soluciones a desplegar y soportar.

Role & Responsibilities



La solución desarrollada está fundamentalmente en Laravel y alojada en Azure. El candidato se incorporará al equipo de IT asumiendo los siguientes objetivos con la ayuda y tutela del IT Manager:


  • Prestar soporte de infraestructura y DevOps.


  • Automatizar totalmente el despliegue de nuevos entornos y versiones de la solución.


  • Optimizar el uso de la infraestructura y reducir el coste por cliente.


  • Automatizar la monitorización de los sistemas y soluciones en el ámbito de infraestructura y DevOps.


  • Selección y gestión de proveedores externos.


  • Implantar las mejores prácticas.


  • Identificar otras áreas de mejora.

Skills & Qualifications



Must Have:


  • Experiencia en la gestión de soluciones de Azure: máquinas virtuales, webapps, bases de datos SQL y otras infraestructuras as a service (Power BI, etc.).


  • Experiencia en la gestión de herramientas de Atlassian o integrables con ellas:


    • JIRA.


    • JIRA Service Desk.


    • Bitbucket (con CI/CD en Azure).


    • Jenkins.


  • Experiencia en la administración de sistemas operativos Windows y Linux.


  • Experiencia en la gestión de servidores web NGINX.


  • Definición y gestión de sistemas de Backup para VMs, BBDD, etc.


  • Experiencia en herramientas CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps u otros).



  • Nice to Have:

    Our client, a well-established consumer electronics and smart home technology company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join its internal Technology Solutions team. The organization delivers a wide range of tech-driven products through major retail and online channels, and is committed to innovation and operational excellence.

    In this role, the DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of enterprise-level databases supporting critical business operations. This position involves both strategic planning and hands-on administration of Microsoft SQL Server environments, including cloud integration with Microsoft Azure.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and conduct regular performance tuning.
    • Install, configure, and upgrade database software and associated tools.
    • Conduct database maintenance tasks, including backups, index rebuilds, and statistics updates.
    • Set up and manage SQL instances for production and test environments, including availability groups and failover clusters.
    • Plan for future database capacity and performance requirements.
    • Implement proactive monitoring tools and resolve database-related issues.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of database schemas, configurations, and procedures.
    • Recommend architectural improvements aligned with Microsoft SQL Server best practices.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and IT infrastructure.

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft DP-300 are advantageous.
