    My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Data Architect to join their team. They are one of the leaders within the consulting space and are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join their team. They are backed by a huge Multi National equity firm who are looking to bolster my clients financial position. They are expected to see year on year growth, which will allow them to implement and utilise the most in demand and cutting edge technology on the market right now. They have just implemented Gen AI within their organisation are looking to utilise the newest technologies on the market.

    Your role will include:

    Responsible for designing and developing conceptual / logical / physical data models for Enterprise scale data lake and data warehouse solutions.
    Create functional & technical documentation - e.g. data integration architecture documentation, data models, data dictionaries, data integration specifications, data testing plans, etc.
    Guide, influence and challenge the technology teams and stakeholders to understand the benefits, pros and cons of solution options.
    Agree and set the technical direction for the data platform landscape and solutions, for the short and long term, in collaboration with delivery and engineering teams.
    This is a hands on role which requires extensive exposure to cloud technologies. The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of writing codes, building data pipelines and doing transformation and ingestion in a a certain tech suite.

    Extensive experience in implementing solutions around the AWS cloud environment (S3, Snowflake, Athena, Glue),
    In depth understanding of database structure principles,
    Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining,
    Excellent understanding of Data Modelling (ERwin, PowerDesigner, Dimensional Modelling)
    An understanding of SQL/database management.
    Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies preferably around AWS.

    My client, a well-established organisation, is partnered with both Databricks and Microsoft and deliver data solutions for a diverse range of clients. Being a consultancy they have 3 client sites across the UK: Manchester, Edinburgh and London.

    They operate with a hybrid working model, where employees are expected to go to their client site when required on a basis of once per week.

    They are looking for a Data Architect who has experience in Databricks, Azure, SQL and Python to join their expanding data team.

    A leading global data consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Data Solutions Architect to join its Data Management practice, supporting clients in the Banking and Financial Services sector. This is a strategic, client-facing role with a strong emphasis on solution design and advisory, rather than hands-on implementation.

    The Role

    This position is ideal for a technically adept professional with deep domain expertise in banking and broader finance, who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders to shape data strategies, modernise platforms, and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

    You will lead the design of enterprise data architectures, support pre-sales and RFPs, and guide delivery teams - acting as a trusted advisor to CDOs, CIOs, and Heads of Data. As such, strong communication, consulting, and leadership skills are essential.

    You will be responsible for architecting and leading the delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms, with a focus on Google Cloud - though occasionally you may also work with Microsoft / Azure and AWS technologies. This will involve leading and mentoring global teams of Data Engineers, Analysts and Data Scientists.

    You will be encouraged to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in the Data and AI space, contributing to internal innovation and capability development.

    Candidate Profile
    • Experience designing enterprise data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Enterprise data modelling experience
    • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
    • Experience in the banking domain (e.g. commercial, investment, or retail banking)
    • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and engagement skills
