About the Role



We're hiring a Junior Contract Application Specialist to support our PAS (Policy Administration System) operations, specifically within the Eclipse Broking platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Lloyd's of London broker, contributing to the smooth running and enhancement of core insurance systems.

You'll be part of a collaborative team, providing technical support and development insight across our application landscape. The role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation in Eclipse Broking, a background in insurance, and exposure to wider application support environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for the Eclipse Broking system.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, configuration, and minor enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth application performance and integration.
  • Support wider application landscape including SQL Server and API-based systems.
  • Document and escalate issues as needed, ensuring timely resolution.


Required Experience

  • Technical understanding of Eclipse Broking (PAS).
  • Experience working within the insurance sector, ideally Lloyd's market.
  • Exposure to SQL Server, including basic querying and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and general application support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Contract Metadata Analyst - £600/day (Inside IR35)



Please note - this role is Inside IR35 and requires you to work on site in London two days per week. To be eligible for this role you must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. This organisation will not offer sponsorship.

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Metadata Analyst to join their team. This role is critical in driving metadata governance and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. The successful candidate will work closely with data owners, stewards, and project managers to maintain and enhance metadata repositories and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain metadata management repositories.
  • Ensure metadata adheres to policy standards.
  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to populate CDEs business metadata.
  • Work with project managers to populate technical business metadata for MITBIT initiative.
  • Establish and execute attestation and change management processes.
  • Support documentation of data lineage where required.
  • Assist in identifying long-term and interim metadata management tools.
  • Promote standardisation, visibility, and corporate usage of metadata.
  • Be hands-on in all aspects of metadata management.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of business and technical metadata types.
  • Significant experience in metadata management.
  • Familiarity with formal and informal metadata management tools.
  • Proficiency in data modelling and data profiling.
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial Services experience preferred (not essential).


This role pays £600/pd (inside IR35) and will require you to work from the London office two days per week.

Role: Cryptography Analyst - Contract
Location: Hybrid - 60% office / 40% remote
Site: Knutsford
Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025, with extension
Security Clearance: BPSS required
Rate to SSC: £500/day
Engagement: PAYE via umbrella only


We are looking to speak to experienced Cryptography Analysts for a long-term engagement supporting enterprise-level cryptographic infrastructure. This is a hybrid role requiring at least two days per week onsite in Knutsford.

The focus is on cryptographic hardware and infrastructure - not software development. Candidates must have hands-on experience with HSM management and monitoring tools, as well as automation and scripting skills (Python or similar).


Key Responsibilities:
  • HSM configuration, installation, and support (Thales, Entrust, Gemalto or equivalent)
  • SSH key and certificate management
  • Cryptographic key lifecycle management across IBM, Tandem, Unix platforms
  • Incident and change management
  • Maintaining audit trails and governance records
  • Supporting cryptographic infrastructure and delivering to SLAs
  • Out-of-hours support may be required
  • Good experience with Python



Essential Skills:
  • Strong background in cryptography or information security
  • Hands-on HSM experience
  • Proficiency in HSM monitoring tools
  • Automation and coding skills (Python or similar)
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management and decision-making under pressure



Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in IT security operations
  • Knowledge of cryptographic standards and compliance
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA
  • Unix/Windows OS skills
  • Experience in change and release management
  • Strong incident response and audit support capabilities
