Outside IR35
6-12 Month Contract
Fully Remote but have to be okay to work in Finnish timezone.

Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of a global profitability reporting programme, ensuring that data, processes, and reporting capabilities are harmonised across the organisation. This role demands a proactive leader who can operate under pressure, manage ambiguity, and drive decision‑making in highly complex settings.
Key Requirements


Candidates must demonstrate solid, well‑established experience in the following areas:
* Management Accounting, including strong understanding of activity‑based costing (ABC) principles
* Industrial / Manufacturing sector experience (mandatory)
* Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager in large‑scale, complex programmes
* Strong technical competence in reporting and analytics solutions, preferably built on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions in complex organisational environments
* A proactive ownership mindset and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and uncertainty

Data Engineer - Contract



We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team. You will work with Microsoft data technologies to build and deliver high‑quality, enterprise-level data solutions that support data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Must have:
Financial Services experience
On prem data stack as a priorit (SSIS / DWH). You have to be using this now.
The Azure stack being a must too. This is hybrid: both on prem and cloud


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
  • Work with Architects and Senior Engineers to meet technical designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with requirements.
  • Partner with Data Science, Digital, and Core Systems teams on cross‑functional projects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Take part in code reviews and follow in-house engineering standards.
  • Adhere to internal policies for data management, governance, and quality.
  • Produce documentation, wikis, and release notes throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance before release.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 3-7 years' experience in Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across the business.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Data Platform technologies (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Strong experience with data pipelines and integrations (ETL/ELT).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and dimensional design.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation languages (T‑SQL, DAX).
  • Experience working in Agile environments (ideally Kanban).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of mortgage or financial services.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI.
  • Programming or scripting experience (C#, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with APIs and semi‑structured data (JSON, XML).
  • Familiarity with Azure data services (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Functions, etc.).
  • Experience with Git and branching strategies.
  • Additional relevant technologies (PowerShell, Bicep, YAML, Power Platform).

Qualifications

  • No mandatory qualifications; Microsoft/Azure certifications are an advantage.

Data Scientist / AI Engineer

Overview
A leading UK financial institution is seeking two experienced Data Scientists (or AI Engineers) to design, build and deliver advanced AI and analytics solutions. These roles sit at the intersection of data science, engineering and strategic problem‑solving, supporting high‑impact initiatives across the organisation. Successful candidates will be hands‑on technical leaders with strong communication skills and the ability to guide both clients and junior team members.


Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end AI, advanced analytics and automation projects from discovery through to production deployment.
* Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants and business leaders.
* Design, develop and implement machine learning models, statistical methods and AI solutions tailored to business needs.
* Support business development activities such as solution design, proposal input and client presentations.
* Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, contributing to capability development.
* Maintain awareness of emerging AI/ML technologies, tools and methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience
* AI Project Lifecycle: Proven experience delivering full‑lifecycle AI projects, from research and prototyping to production deployment. Strong communication and stakeholder management.
* Advanced Analytics: Expertise in analytics for structured data, with strong Python skills and experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or Hugging Face.
* NLP & ML: Deep understanding of NLP and ML techniques for unstructured content, including experience with foundation models and large language models.
* AI Solution Development: Experience architecting and delivering AI solutions using modern tooling, including generative AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Amazon CodeWhisperer.
* Cloud & Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB).


Preferred Experience
* Expertise in one or more specialised areas such as NLP, image processing, video processing, voice processing or Watson technologies.
* Familiarity with modern UI frameworks (e.g., Backbone.js, AngularJS, React.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, JQuery) to support integration of AI solutions.
* Experience working across multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android).
* PhD or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
