• As a Data Engineer, you will work on creating websites and portals for both internal and external use, developing and evolving the data visualization platform by creating data models and ETLs, within distributed teams with good communication and varying levels of scrum maturity.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for the Databricks Data Warehouse solution.
• Assess and implement technical aspects of access concepts, including RBAC/ABAC governance, to ensure data security and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, primarily in Python.
• Support/manage Unity Catalog capabilities, governance, and domain-driven catalog management.
• Process automation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies and strive for continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

  4-5 years of experience with Python and SQL, and 1-2 years with Power Apps

Pricing Manager

I am working with a tech focused e-commerce business based in London who are looking for a Pricing Manager to join their team. This is a brand-new role sitting within the BI & Data team, and you will be responsible for leading on pricing initiatives for operations on a global scale.

You will be tasked with growing revenue via the implantation of data-driven pricing strategies with the goal of ensure the business can be as profitable as possible. You will work closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to design pricing experiments, monitor their outcomes and adjust pricing models accordingly.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for;

• Develop and implement pricing strategies
• Lead on the creating and implementation of pricing experiments
• Conduct analysis on pricing performance, providing insights to senior leadership to increase revenue
• Create a long-term pricing roadmap
• Build commercial pricing models

To be successful in this role you will have.

• Experience in a pricing strategy focused role
• Knowledge of pricing and pricing models
• Knowledge of statistical experimentation methods (A/B, elasticity)
• Experience using SQL to extract data from data sources
• Data visualisation or other coding experience would be beneficial

This is a home-based role, however travel to the London HQ will be required for team meetings no more than twice per month. Some of the benefits included in this role are -

We are currently representing a Client in Dallas (Victory Park) that is looking to expand their rapidly growing Data / Software Development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer OR Data Engineer

• Experience with AWS cloud or working with Snowflake Data Warehouses is a big plus
