    About the Job:

    Role, you will design, develop, deploy, and document secure and functional APIs that integrate Employment Hero's HR and Payroll modules with third-party client platforms (such as timesheet and finance systems). You'll work day-to-day with our clients and partners, acting as the technical expert who architects API solutions based on client requirements and Employment Hero's documentation. You will manage the full API lifecycle, liaise with third-party vendors, contribute to solution design workshops, and ensure the integration meets performance, security, and documentation standards. Your work will make a direct impact by enabling clients to use automated HR and Payroll processes efficiently.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    API Solution Design & Development
    • Architect and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs to integrate Employment Hero with external platforms.
    • Implement OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication for API access.
    • Manage the API life-cycle including testing, deployment, version control, logging, and monitoring.
    • Use Python (e.g. FastAPI) and Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Microsoft Fabric pipelines) for development and orchestration.
    • Document integration specifications and processes clearly for future maintenance and support.


    Collaboration & Client Integration Support
    • Liaise with third-party vendors and client IT teams to align technical details.
    • Work closely with consultants to align API designs with functional requirements.
    • Participate in workshops, contribute technical insight, and support user acceptance testing.
    • Deliver training, handover materials, and ongoing technical documentation.
    • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.


    About you:
    • Experienced in developing RESTful APIs and implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication.
    • Skilled in Python (preferably FastAPI), Git, SQL, and cloud services like Microsoft Azure.
    • Familiar with technologies such as: Airbyte, Rivery and Hevo
    • Familiar with HR, Payroll, Recruitment, and L&D terminology and work-flows.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
    • Strong communicator, proactive problem-solver, and agile project contributor.

    My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Technical SQL Developer to join a giant within the Insurance Indusrty. They are one of the leaders within the Consulting space. They are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join their team. They are backed by a huge Multi National equity firm who are looking to bolster my clients financial position. They are expected to see year on year growth, which will allow them to implement and utilise the most in demand and cutting edge technology on the market right now.

    Role Overview
    Design, develop, and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to access and process data from diverse systems.

    Build and manage reliable ETL pipelines using SQL and SSIS to support enterprise-wide data integration and transformation.

    Optimise SQL code and ETL workflows to enhance performance and scalability.

    Develop and maintain SSIS packages to ensure accurate and consistent data processing.

    Support operational reporting systems by resolving issues raised by users and stakeholders.

    (Preferred) Assist in the development of .NET/Windows services for data processing tasks.

    Carry out data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and quality checks to meet technical and business requirements.

    Work closely with analytics teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

    Follow best practices in database design and coding; contribute to code reviews and collaborative development.

    Create clear technical documentation for data processes and workflows.



    Skills & Experience Required
    Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics.

    At least 5 years' experience in SQL development.

    Advanced skills in writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

    Solid hands-on experience with SSIS and ETL development.

    Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSAS) is advantageous.

    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    Experience in fast-paced, agile environments with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Able to collaborate effectively within global and culturally diverse teams.

    Responsibilities:

    We're hiring a hands-on AI Engineer to mentor junior engineers and support client delivery.


    You'll guide junior developers as they contribute to and enhance AI-powered solutions-typically combining automation and intelligence-for our clients. Your role will involve providing technical oversight, ensuring quality, and helping shape how we deliver scalable solutions.

    You'll also lead the development of best practices and frameworks, creating a replicable playbook the team can follow for future projects.



    You should have experience shipping AI solutions like:
    • Revenue Reconciliation Agent: Automating financial data reconciliation and reporting discrepancies.
    • Lease Reconciliation Agent: Comparing lease data with rent rolls to identify mismatches.
    • Legal DD Assistant: Building a document Q&A agent to extract key terms from due diligence documents.


    Experience we're looking for:
    • Proficiency with OpenAI or Claude.
    • Strong experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
    • Advanced knowledge of Pandas.
    • Familiarity with PyMuPDF or pdfplumber.
    • Experience with building APIs and custom connectors.
    • Optional: Experience with UI frameworks like Streamlit or Gradio.
    • Optional: Deployment/Infra experience with Microsoft AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, or AWS SageMaker.
