    A professional services firm who are scaling rapidly through acquisition, are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their team in Stoke on Trent as they embark on a major transformation.

    With ambitious growth plans, you'll join during phase 1 of a multi-year strategy to unify and modernise their data, cloud, and tech set-up, including the move from on-prem legacy systems to the cloud (which will most likely be Azure).

    Reporting into their new CIO/CTO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their enterprise-wide data strategy - requiring visionary thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and also brilliant hands-on technical ability.

    Please note this role is fully office-based, 5 days a week in Stoke on Trent, in line with their highly collaborative and close-knit culture.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Assessing the current data estate across on-prem, cloud, and legacy systems
    • Designing and implementing a scalable, future-proof data architecture
    • Leading the migration from legacy tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS) to modern platforms like Azure Data Factory and Power BI
    • Collaborating across cloud, tech, and data teams to align strategies
    • Enabling the business to become AI-ready by optimising data flows and governance
    • Getting hands-on to deliver your strategy - this isn't just a whiteboard role!


    Experience Required:
    • Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect in a complex, multi-system environment
    • Strong technical background with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed
    • Experience with Azure (or cloud-agnostic mindset)
    • Deep understanding of data integration, modernisation, and governance
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills


    This is a permanent role, and offers a salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

    Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Critical National Infrastructure Project
    Location: On-site in Wokingham/Hybrid - 3 days on site
    Start Date: 4-6 weeks

    A contract opportunity is available for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to support a high-profile UK Critical National Infrastructure programme. The role involves providing operational support for a key national platform as part of a long-term transformation initiative.

    This is an on-site role based in Wokingham/Reading, working 2-3 days per week on a rotation basis. Remote work is not permitted due to the sensitive nature of the project.

    Key Requirements


    • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift


    • Exposure to Azure environments


    • Familiarity with SRE principles and platform operations

    About the Job:

    Role, you will design, develop, deploy, and document secure and functional APIs that integrate Employment Hero's HR and Payroll modules with third-party client platforms (such as timesheet and finance systems). You'll work day-to-day with our clients and partners, acting as the technical expert who architects API solutions based on client requirements and Employment Hero's documentation. You will manage the full API lifecycle, liaise with third-party vendors, contribute to solution design workshops, and ensure the integration meets performance, security, and documentation standards. Your work will make a direct impact by enabling clients to use automated HR and Payroll processes efficiently.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    API Solution Design & Development
    • Architect and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs to integrate Employment Hero with external platforms.
    • Implement OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication for API access.
    • Manage the API life-cycle including testing, deployment, version control, logging, and monitoring.
    • Use Python (e.g. FastAPI) and Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Microsoft Fabric pipelines) for development and orchestration.
    • Document integration specifications and processes clearly for future maintenance and support.


    Collaboration & Client Integration Support
    • Liaise with third-party vendors and client IT teams to align technical details.
    • Work closely with consultants to align API designs with functional requirements.
    • Participate in workshops, contribute technical insight, and support user acceptance testing.
    • Deliver training, handover materials, and ongoing technical documentation.
    • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.


    About you:
    • Experienced in developing RESTful APIs and implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication.
    • Skilled in Python (preferably FastAPI), Git, SQL, and cloud services like Microsoft Azure.
    • Familiar with technologies such as: Airbyte, Rivery and Hevo
    • Familiar with HR, Payroll, Recruitment, and L&D terminology and work-flows.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.

    Role Overview



    You'll work closely with the Head of Development and Head of Emerging Technology to design, build, and deploy scalable prototypes and production-ready applications on GCP. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning complex challenges into elegant technical solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Rapid Prototyping: Build POCs and MVPs to validate ideas quickly.
