Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) - ISO27001 Specialist

Position Overview: They are seeking a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with a specialization in ISO27001 compliance to join the team. As the CISO, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust information security protocols aligned with ISO27001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with ISO27001 requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of technology infrastructure and operations.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement remediation strategies as needed.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to proactively enhance our security posture.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ISO27001 compliance, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO27001 certification within enterprise-level environments.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving security initiatives and fostering a culture of security awareness.

Location: This position is based in Oslo, Norway. Remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location and circumstances.
