OT Cybersecurity Architect

In this role you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding their critical infrastructure and ensuring the integrity and reliability of our OT systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial control systems, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security solutions that protect our OT environments from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive security architectures for OT environments, including industrial control systems, SCADA systems, and IoT devices.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement security controls and monitoring solutions to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define security requirements, policies, and procedures for OT systems and infrastructure.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors targeting OT environments, and make recommendations for proactive defense measures.
• Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on security-related matters, including secure coding practices, network segmentation, and access controls.
• Participate in incident response activities and forensic investigations to analyze security breaches and implement remediation measures.

Qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), or other relevant certifications.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions for OT environments, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial protocols and standards such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC UA.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards governing OT security, such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and ISA/IEC 62451.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, cryptography, and secure communications protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
