Our client is seeking an experienced Front-End Team Lead for their team based in Trondheim.

They began as a project initiated by NTNU. Presently, their software package for process control, analysis, and automation is utilized in over 2,700 locations across Norway.

The client comprises a dedicated team of 34 individuals who are actively involved in developing the next iteration of their software. Their team is technically adept, fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact. They thrive on crafting innovative solutions and are deeply invested in contributing to their sustainability objectives.

As a Front-End Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design and development of their front-end architecture, in addition to coordinating testing, operations, and maintenance. You will collaborate closely with both the engineering team and management to craft a resilient, scalable, and contemporary solution that serves the interests of their clients and company alike.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of front-end architecture.
  • Assume ownership of technical issues, operations, and maintenance.
  • Establish and manage automated front-end tests.
  • Define and achieve project milestones.
  • Lead by example, provide mentorship, and foster collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the technical department and management.


Qualifications
  • Proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience with React, Next.js, and Material UI.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, yarn, webpack, pkg, jest, and testing-library.
  • Ability to interact with OpenAPI, GraphQL, and WS-based services.
  • Strong skills in structured problem analysis.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with SCM processes (e.g., trunk-based).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Independent thinker driven by personal growth.
