Senior Frontend Developer

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Vue.js Developer to join their team and contribute to the development of their web applications. As a Vue.js Developer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain user interfaces that set industry standards for quality and usability.

Location:
Oslo, Norway

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into high-quality, responsive user interfaces.
• Develop new user-facing features and optimize existing ones using Vue.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Vue.js Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in Vue.js and its core principles, with a deep understanding of Vue.js internals such as components, props, and state management.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or AngularJS.
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as Node.js or Python.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
