Java/React Developer

Team and collaboration

Our development organization comprises three product development teams and a platform team dedicated to assisting the product teams. Each product development team is tasked with designing, implementing, enhancing, and maintaining one or more applications within a specific domain. A typical product development team includes:

• Lead developer
• Several developers, including some offshore members
• UI/UX specialist
• Multiple testers

The team receives support from a scrum master and is supplied with a robust pipeline by the business owner, facilitated by our technical consultants.

Within your team you will be involved in, among other things:

• Participate in the technical development of the product domain in a broad sense
• Translate requirements into concrete stories together with the team
• Implementing new functionality, solving bugs/test findings
• Identifying and scheduling required maintenance activities
• Assist in carrying out maintenance activities
• Professional coaching/supporting team members

Desired profile

• Seniority: you know who you are and what you can contribute. You speak out and do not avoid a good discussion.You have a passion for your profession and enjoy supporting less senior team members in their development.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in developing React-based web applications
• Knowledge of and experience with backend development based on Java
• Knowledge of and experience with relational and document-oriented databases. Specific experience with Oracle and Mongodb is a strong advantage.
• Experience working according to the agile Scrum methodology
• Preferably good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written
