Senior iOS Developer - Espoo

Position Overview:

As a Senior iOS Developer specializing in SDK and VPN technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile applications for iOS devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate our SDKs and VPN solutions into various applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user privacy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of iOS development best practices, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable iOS applications that leverage our SDKs and VPN solutions to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver features on schedule.
• Architect and optimize code for performance, reliability, and security, following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to enhance application functionality and interoperability with our SDKs and VPN services.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of the software.
• Stay updated on the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and frameworks, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in iOS application development, with a strong focus on SDK integration and network security.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, as well as iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Foundation, and Core Data.
• Experience working with VPN protocols and encryption standards, such as IPSec, IKEv2, and OpenVPN.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, RESTful APIs, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins), and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
